Welcome to my webpage.
I am currently completing my doctorate in philosophy at Southern Illinois University. I specialize in phenomenology and post-structuralism, and I maintain abiding interests in classical American philosophy, process thought, and philosophy of technology. Recently these interests have found their intersection in the new movement in contemporary philosophy known as speculative realism.
Hobbies and interests include chess, coffee, the Yankees and the Cardiff City Bluebirds. I have recently begun chess lessons with IM John Watson, and I roast coffee for fun and profit. (Many thanks to my wife and two cats for allowing me to cultivate these passions.)
