Welcome to my webpage. I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Southern Illinois University.

Research Interests

My research interests primarily relate to political violence and include such topics as insurgency, civil war, interstate war, and terrorism. While my research is mostly cross-national, I am particularly interested in Latin America.

Teaching

I teach a variety of courses including War and Force in the International System, Terrorism and Counterterrorism, International Relations, and International Political Economy.
