Watershed Science and Management activities in
the Department of Forestry primarily focus on agricultural and urban systems.
Specifically, past and current research efforts have investigated riparian
buffers, forest management activities, and social drivers influencing water
quality. A strong interdisciplinary team has been developed within the
department that addresses current water resources issues.
