SIUC owns approximately 2000 ac within 2 miles of campus.  The land is dedicated to research, education, and outreach.  Within the ownership boundaries, we chose three 200-400 ac watersheds that are currently managed under row-crop agriculture production (watershed outlets denoted by by the red stars).  Watersheds 1 (WS1) and 3 (WS3) will be treatment watersheds and watershed 2 (WS 2) will be the control watershed.
