It's All Rock n' Roll to Me
A Rock Portfolio
By Leah Williams
For the last several years, I have worked as an arts and entertainment reporter. This collection of articles reflects some of my written work, but it is also a glimpse into the rock n' roll culture.
The misogyny in the American institution is prevalent, whether it is Ann Wilson discussing Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame snubs or the First Lady of Rock Wanda Jackson mentioning her decades long struggle for revelancy. There are also themes of the creative process with John Sebastian talking about crafting the perfect song or Garry Peterson of The Guess Who wondering why present audiences prefer live jukeboxes to new material.
There is also discussions of newcomers, millenial artists and bands who are on the brink of breaking through to the other side. So, plug in, read on and contact me if you have any questions.
