My husband and I moved to Murphysboro, IL from our hometown of Wichita, KS. Murphysboro is a small town of about 10,000 people located 6 miles west of Carbondale, home of the Southern Illinois University Salukis!
I am the proud momma to two beautiful dogs. They both are Border Collie mix breed. Oskar, my 6 year old, is mellow and sweet. Grover, the 4 year old, is a bit more excitable but a great snuggler when he settles down!
I also have two nieces and two nephews! Josie will be 5 in November. Her sister Brooklyn will be 1 this summer and is growing fast. Kyle, my nephew, just turned 2 and is awnry but so much fun! My beautiful sister gave birth to another nephew the day before Thanksgiving (2006). How exciting! My "little" brother (an all-around amazing guy!!), lives in Denver and recently started a new job.
I was, and still am, so grateful to have the love and constant support of my family! My Mom is ever my cheerleader, and my dad is always a proud Papa. My parents' respective spouses are also wonderful and I'm lucky to have them to support me too. I also married into a great family that has never wavered in support of me or my husband. Knowing that these important people are behind me makes it easier to go out into the world and pursue my dreams. Thank you all!!!
