Dr. Malcolm-Ensor completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Kansas City Art Institute and a Masters in Art History at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. During her time at the university in the Interdisciplinary Ph. D. program, Malcolm-Ensor was awarded the following fellowships: an Arthur Mag Fellowship, a Chancellor’s Interdisciplinary Fellowship and a Distinguished Dissertation Fellowship. The University of Missouri-Kansas City Women’s Council was very supportive of her work and scholarship, and she is thankful for all of the support she received while a student at UMKC. She currently teaches at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
